Effective wavelengths of near infrared light therapy include 750 nm to 1,400 nm. The wavelength of the near infrared is more beneficial in treating deep wounds and relieving muscle and joint pain. 850nm and 980 nm are common for near infrared light therapy.
DGYAO adopts 88pcs 880 nm infrared led lights (invisible to naked light) and 88pcs 660 nm red led lights. The combination of red and infrared light increase blood circulation by thermal effect to provide pain relief.
The NIR is the shortest wavelength and the most penetrating infrared ray, which can penetrate 5 to 10 mm of the human body tissues. Infrared light can penetrate the skin, directly to the muscles, subcutaneous tissue which helps to accelerate blood circulation, increase metabolism, relieve pain and increase muscle relaxation, resulting in massage effects. Infrared treats the disease at different levels because of mobilize the body’s own disease-resistant ability.
Place in hand. Plug into a electrical outlet. Press on/off switch to activate device. You can only see the red LED’s, the others are in the Infrared light spectrum and can’t be seen with the human eye.
Treatment time is 20 minutes and can be used multiple times per day. Please pay attention to rest for 15-30 minutes between two treatment, drink water to replenish water, make the body dissipate heat, and then proceed to the next treatment.
When cleaning or collecting, please cool it for 15 minutes.

So far works great!! I purchased this for my husbands osteoarthritis in his fingers and so far it is working great. Using it twice a day has been the most beneficial. Does give off a “hot” odor, but it quits after a couple of uses.

My father In law was not the typical 76 year old. He was more active than most 40 year olds I know!! He chopped wood, worked on things in his garage and still mowed his own lawn! However, he began complaining about his aching hands and was extremely frustrated with not being able to perform his normal daily tasks.
He was scheduled for surgery for his arthritis and tendonitis.
